Re: Angry T-Mobile customer looking for advice/resolution
When you are sold a phone under the impression it can do X features and down the road they start charging you for one of those features that is not legit.
I understand if I got the phone today, when that charge exists, and I am informed that in order to do that I need to pay an extra $14.99 this would not be a valid arguement.
But when you purchase a phone for a specific feature which is free and then down the road, after your locked in a contract they turn around and charge you for that...that is crap.
I dont care if other carriers charge for it...that is not what this is about. This is about a feature of a phone I was pitched as being a free service which is now no longer free.
Everyone keeps saying that before the network could not track tethering or diferintiate a phone that was being tethered but now it can and thats why they charge for this...but again, that is not the issue here. It is not my problem they finally have the network up to speed to suport/track this. I was sold a phone with a feature of tethering as long as I had the data plan...now that I am under contract they are charging additional fees. How can you begin to say thats fair?
PS-I never got a letter in the mail saying anything about tethering being a new charge. I got a text message...after it was already blocked.
