Yes he is correct, the phones that are going to go the quickest are the MyTouch 4G/HD 7/BlackBerry 9780/G2 and the cliq 2 will probably get some attention even though its free online right now.

You think it's smart to go ahead and get a free phone now, or wait for the Vibrant 4G, or another new device, maybe this summer? My contract ends April 1st.

recommend to get a new phone now, or wait for Samsung Vibrant 4G, or another new device that may release this summer?

Well, I mean the whole point of this is getting a FREE PHONE. The Samsung Vibrant 4G is going to be sweet. Not too much different than the MyTouch 4G except bigger screen and the AMO LED Screen. Your choice.

Your going to save at least 200 bucks if you get a phone this weekend.

Actually the huge difference between the two is that the Galaxy S 4G is going to be the first phone to get theoretical peaks of up to 21.1 and according to a real-world study done by msnbc the Galaxy S 4G peak at 10.34 mbps with an average speed of 7.81 mbps and the mytouch peaked out at 6.18mbps with an average of 4.71 mbps.

Call me stupid but a 3mbps difference in connection speed is insane. To be honest with you if you like your phone and have no problems with it I would wait until T-Mo has the system upgraded to the 42 mbps by the end of this year and start rolling those phones out.

I mean is 10 months of waiting worth saving money. Cause look at it this way say you get a free phone now and renew your two year contract. Ten months...

Hey do you guys recommend I get the Blackbery Bold 9870 or the MyTouch 4G (we won't be getting 4G in our area anytime soon).

I currently have the Blackberry Curve 8900, and heavily text...I'm a bit worried switching over to a touch screen like the MyTouch.

I went to the store today, way too many people, so i'll sleep on it tonight, and head on over at 9am when the store opens.

Basically I'm getting either the Bold 9870 or the My Touch 4G.

Well recommendations cant really be made without knowing what you like to do on your phone (other than texting). Do you like to play games? Listen to pandora? Use BBM? Want to download apps form android market?
