very true sign up for easypay for 6 months that seems to be the only way to get off of flexpay.

Not the only way but the easiest way because flexpay makes your payment 3 days before the due date and thats what is considered an on-time payment for the purposes of qualifying to convert.

Sounds like an individual jerk, not the company. But yes, as flexpay, customer care is in the philippines. Do as others say, pay your bill for 6 months without being late and then you can come off FlexPay. Good luck paying that security deposit at AT&T and having one of the worst rated experiences.

I agree with smylax. One individual in a store doesn't speak for the company as a whole. Flexpay is a great alternative to paying deposits granted flexpay care isn't the easiest to deal with that's why you pay your bill on time for 6 months and convert to postpaid. I mean I know its hard for some of the people who qualify for flexpay to wrap your head around actually paying your bill let alone paying it on time but that's how it gets better. If you despise flexpay care then pay your bill and get off of flexpay. And yeah you think that one guy in the store had an attitude good luck with AT&T. Just about every single one of their employees have attitudes.

Brother we are trying our best, and yes sometimes our agent can be jerks. I work for at&t and have had bad experience with them and I've had good. I always try my best but some customers are unhappy regardless. NO company is perfect.

plus you look bad putting down another company and the whole "pay your bill on time." Every customer deserves good customer service, even if they've had some hard times.

well he probably set up the no contract before we offered the even more plus plans. Before we offered even more plus on post paid, you could only get no contract on a flex pay account

well i set up flexpay no contract because i was not sure where i would be staying and if tmo covered the area but i am staying in dfw area for good and enjoyed my service with tmo i just became displeased when i had small issues (changing to/from blackberry plans the corp store in my hood etc)
but to be fair i had a very positive experience at the hulen mall company store a year ago the lady there was very helpful nice and quickly handled my needs it is just on the other side of town hard to get to

This has been a nice thread. I thought you were going to bash these guys, but am pleasantly surprised by your even-handedness. Good luck with AT&T. You should be fine in DFW. That's old SBC territory. They had better be strong there.
