My anwer "Possibly it was included in the original software, but left out". This makes me mad because I need predictive text. The only prediction is in swype which I dislike. I may return the phone for this! BASICALLY PREDICTIVE TEXT IN THE QWERTY KEYBOARD IS NON-EXISTEN. Additionally, if you change to the phonekeypad keyboard or the compact qwerty...nothing changes.....it stays the exact same keyboard. THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS SWIPE. Now if you...

Never mind, figured it out, you have to tap and hold for a couple seconds in the text entry area and let go and select input method then you can select touch input, which is very much like the iphone but also has the option to voice-to-text

Yeah it took me a little while to figure that out of my android phone as well. Hold down in the input box, then it's under input method.

Dont't hate, there are so many phones. It's hard to keep up with every feature on every phone without having it.

See, Cellphone reps sell CONTRACTS. Phones are the loss leaders to get you to sign a contract. Until selling a phone is profitable, there is no signifigant incentive to learn everything about every phone.

Not to mention that most reps don't have the time to walk with you hand-in-hand as you learn the more intricate aspects of your phone.

hahaha!

I mean to be honest its hard to keep up with all this stuff too. Especially when new updates are released and things change.

Your best bet is to talk to a friend that has an android phone for any questions (assuming you have friends) or you can always use that wonderful thing called google that is conveniently located on your phone and just about everywhere else.

PLUS, since you hate typing typing so much you can always use those nifty voice commands 🙂
