Switching: Sprint to Tmobile
I'm looking to get a new WP7 device and Tmobile seems to have the best selections (HD7 & Dell Venue Pro). The only issue seems to be their service plans. Am I missing something? Sprint has a $69 plan that includes unlimited data and text, while Tmobile looks to charge an extra $50 for data and text not to include $50 for the talk time. WTH?!?!
Really could use some insight into getting a good plan (if that is possible).

Maybe he doesn't want android? He's obviously interested in WP7... but ZzigG I don't know where you're getting your rate plans? If you're wanting a contract plan look at the Even More plans. We have a promotional plan right now: $79.99/month 1,500 minutes, unl nights & weekends, unl mobile to mobile, unl text, unl web. With an epic or evo on Sprint for the same price you only get 450 minutes because of the $10/month BS charge on those devices.
Lame.
1500 minutes is nothing when practically nobody has T-Mobile. I would fly through that in a couple of weeks. Besides, T-Mobile's rural coverage still sucks--even with roaming agreements.
I understand you have to sell the product you have, but to make it sound like you're "giving away" an extra 1050 minutes is absurd.

Tmobile's nights start at 9pm and they don't have anymobile to anymobile. Sprint night start at 7pm and you can call any cellphone in the US free anytime. On family plan which is what him and his wife should be on thru either carrier if they wanna save money. Would be 129.99 with Sprint and have 1500 anytime min plus any mobile any time, with nights starting at 7pm. Tmobile also drops a lot more calls then Sprint in areas where they both have good coverage.
Your response had little to do with the discussion ๐

Your 1500 does not.

That means nothing if I call tmobile and get a rep overseas that speaks broken english and cannot recommend a descent plan. Jd power can say walmart has the freshest and highest quality fruits and vegetables but if I go to Sunharvest and theirs are fresher I dont give a damm what jd power has to say. Its about personal experience in that regard. ๐

You have to be. You post just as much as I do in more forums than I do. I don't post to piss people off I post to bring up topics normally over looked and to spread the truth about each and every carrier. If my post piss anyone off its because they are fanboys or employees. I haven't ...

It's "you're," as in "you are."
And "u" is infantile. You're one third of the way into correctly spelling "you." Give it a try more often.
And no, I am not joking.

I do post a lot. And I've been posting for many years. So I have a pretty verifiable track record, if you're inclined to dig through them.

One person's customer service experiance speaks little to what people can generally expect in terms of customer service. JD power lends much more credability to T-mobiles customer service than your anecdotal evidence.
The JD power link also lends credibility to the well established fact that you have no idea what you're talking about.
If the teachers are horrible
and the school system sucks
and you (and others) notice your child is not learning...
Someone like JD Powers is NOT going to give them a high mark for anyone's satisfaction. Rating companies like that just don't work that way. They will find dissatisfaction.
If the teachers are good
and the school system is effective
and you still think your child hasn't learned...
JD Powers would rate the school high. And you'd be the idiot taking your child to a school you obviously don't mesh with.

Well I call tmobile all the time... And there customer service is horrible... So what does that say about jd powers study and what good does it do me?
hmm...believe a study by JD Powers and Associates or believe you. Tough decision ๐
This is your fig leaf that it took you 2 days to think up.
I have a ton of responses to reply to and you are at the bottom of my list, go home and play with your fake 4g on tmobile. You can't speak for everyone else on phonescoop only yourself and u have a very small opinion but obviously I'm at the top of your list you may need to get a life. ๐คฃ
Everyone called BS on you, you're a sprint customer and you're posting that you call t-mobile's customer service all the time.
Then 2 days later you come back with, "i'm calling for friends and family who have t-mobile"
You're trying to wiggle out of having to admit you're wrong again.
1. Is Wimax the global standard for 4G or is LTE?
2. What did Sprint rank in the most recent JD power study for their customer care?
3. Did T-mobile have a lot of users on their HSPA+ right after it was deployed?
4. Did England's Vodaphone recieve US Bailout dollars?
5. Are Verizons 22-46 mzh of spectrum in the 700 band worth more (in dollars) than clear's 150 mhz in the 2.5ghz band?
I think that you made an assumption that t-mobile had crappy customer service and posted that they did with no knowledge of the subject. I showed you that what you posted was factually inaccurate- that they have built a reputation of great customer service over several years. You're just not taking ownership of yet another factual inaccuracy you posted.
Verizon had the worst cs!

Sprint 743

The title of the article was
Sprint Nextel climbs to second place in J.D. Power survey on retail experience . And they survey all of 8000 ppl to get those numbers. Sprint has almost 50million customer and companies like verizon and att have almost 100million JD powers is a great starting point but when it comes to personal experience I take these surveys with a grain of salt. But if you take them seriously you should know that by this close of a score it is very possible ...

Not sure what article or data you're looking at. I found the JD Power and Associates 2010 Wireless Customer Care Performance Study, Volume 2, from July of this year.
Here's the link:
http://businesscenter.jdpower.com/news/pressrelease. ... »
This customer service survey shows T-Mobile at the top with 777, then AT&T with 757, Verizon with 749, and Sprint at the bottom with 734.
Different numbers than what you typed (you didn't link to anything).
here it is again...

You're talking about the JD Power Wireless Retail Sales Satisfaction Survey, Volume 2, from September. This is NOT the Wireless Customer Care Performance Study in any way shape for form, which you eluded to by calling it "there (sic) cs surveys."

Really? Evo and Epic are what chopped liver?
When you have high churn, lose billions of dollars every year, and quarter after quarter have a net loss of subscribers a lenient return policy really helps.
Sprint would prefer to have a more restrictive return policy because a lenient one hurts their margins.
Sprint has this policy because they know they have a great product and are standing behind it not forcing you to keep it like the other 3 major carriers! ๐คญ

Nope...It's Sprints way of luring customers. It's common practice in many industries for the underdog to use such tactics. Oddly enough, companies at the top don't have as much incentive to offer better deals.
Take the auto industry for example. Dodge with it's lifetime powertrain warranty, Hyundai started out with high warranties to catch attention and at the same time look what Toyota does...it offers less than i...
