If you go in settings under keyboard & launguage & touch input you will see that their is a tutorial that actually shows the predictive text working. I just got off the phone with HTC & the tech support guy went through all of the settinngs & tried to text & he couldn't get it to work either. My anwer "Possibly it was included in the original software, but left out". This makes me mad because I need predictive text. The only prediction is in swype which I dislike. I may return the phone for this! BASICALLY PREDICTIVE TEXT IN THE QWERTY KEYBOARD IS NON-EXISTEN. Additionally, if you change to the phonekeypad keyboard or the compact qwerty...nothing changes.....it stays the exact same keyboard. THE ONLY OTHER OPTION IS SWIPE. Now if you look at the phone specs on TMO it states predictive text in QWERTY as an option....this is beyond misleading & disappointing!
