Best Signal Strength? -No Smart Phones eligable

by Inocense    Nov 12, 2010, 1:22 PM

I need a new phone with stronger reception. The appartment is virtually a dead zone and I can only send and retrieve txt messages. Calls will not be received nor are they able to be dialed out. One bar pops up once in awhile. The second I step out of the appartment, I have bars. Numerous complains to T-Mobil. They said to get a BB and they will waive the requirement to get a data bundle. And they only gave me 2 bb options. The current is the 9300. But it only has a 2MP camera.

Camera is very important to me. I currently have the Samsung T919 and T-Mobil advised that it is one of the most complained about phones when it comes to signal strength.

I DO NOT want to purchase a data plan. I do not access the internet on my phone.

Any suggestions as to which phones I should be looking at? I would rather not go the BB route since I will only be using the phone for txting, calling and photo's.

btw.. The 9300 does work in the appartment. But I am sending it back. A BB is a waste without a data plan and unfortunetly I cannot afford the data plan not to mention the camera is crap on it (2MP).

P.S. I do not have wifi, so once again, that is not an option.
