I'm actually kinda surprised we've maintained a good relationship with Cingular after that whole California thing.

Summer 2002:

Ummm... Cingular? Can we use your towers in California? We'll be good to them, I promise! We'll let you use ours in New York... I promise the coverage is better in New York then what most people say...

WHAT? You will?? Really?? Excellent.

Autumn 2002:

Oh hi Cingular. Thanks for the roaming agreement. Yeah, sorry we made an incredibly good rate plan that we don't even make money on just to steal all your customers. How are your customers liking the New York area? Yeah.. Kinda sucks I know. Well, don't worry, now that you have rights to all of our old towers, we're going to build-up our coverage with new towers that you don't have access to. We'll go from last place in coverage in New York to first! Thanks for doing business with T-Mobile

We definitely stuck our knife right between Cingular's shoulder blades on that one. What a ruthless business the wireless industry is. ;)
