Question About Data Transfer

by Xavier    Feb 15, 2004, 10:14 AM

Hey guys, I was hoping you could answer a couple questions I have on how data transfer works with T-Mobile and the charges incurred. I’m on the Basic Family Plan with a Motorola V300 with no T-Zones. One question I have is about basic WAP access. In order to upload pictures, ringtones, and java applets, I plan on using Coding Workshop's Polyphonic Wizard (http://www.polyphonicwizard.com/). For those not familiar with the program, it basically sets up a dedicated server on my PC for the files I want,
then I use the WAP browser on my phone to connect to my computer and
download these files. Would I be charged for this transfer? My second question is, I’ve heard that I can somehow log on to the internet from my phone and only be charged the minutes I have in my plan. Has anyone heard of this and if so, knows how to set it up on my phone to be able to do this? Thanks for the help!!
