Project Black......what a fizzle!!!

What kind of overpaid marketing and accounting morons thought of these plans?

Every carrier out there has some kind of "my faves" plan.....AT&T has A-list with rollover and Verizon has it's friends and family. Why in the world would TMobile go backwards?

With these plans, you definitely don't get any more than you would with AT&T, who to me has always been way more expensive than TMobile.

This is a joke!!!! With the lackluster phone selection and what they've got in the pipeline, I don't see how they thought Project Black was going to change the wireless industry.

ARE YOU ON CRACK? Seriously? Did you hit the retard tree head on? Do a little more research before you start spouting off. Tmobile isn't going backwards. They are going forwards. Why would you need a myfavs type rateplan with a few people (10 on verizon and att for the whole family) when you have unlimited calling to everyone.. Maybe that doesn't make sense to you but if you want to have the shining circles to pretend to be like att or verizon YOU still can! Isn't American great?

I'm happy that it works for you. Read a lot of other posts how people don't see this as earth shattering.

By the time you take voice and add data and text, cause that's the trend, you're already at $110, which you would pay the same at AT&T, a much bigger network.

On a side note........think about how long it took tmobile to finally add unlimited in network calling(free)?

If you look at my thread I said it was $100. You're right TMo wins by the penny.

What tmobile intention with Project Black is win customers over with pricing. Matching isn't gonna cut it.

Oh but you said it's 79.99 if you have a tmobile phone. Are you stupid? How are you attracting new customers if it saves existing cutomers only?

Tmobile has slacked off all this time. They flopped when marketing G1 and they replicated that success with the MyTouch marketing when it came out a month after the launch. What overpaid marketing brainiac is behind these wonderful launches? Same goes for "Project Black.". I haven't seen one advertisement for it yet. At least when Sprint offered their everything plan they ran ads all the time with...

Its quite obvious you don't understand what you're looking at. With even more plus, unlimited calling, text, and web is $79.99, not 100, not 110. No other carrier has everything for 80 bucks...

Actually I do understand. The price you're quoting is based on either 1) already with TMobile 2) brought in a tmobile compatible phone.

That unlimited 79.99 doesn't apply for someone that needs a new phone, while trying to come in. If you buy a phone subsidized the monthly will cost 99.99 as I mentioned. That sao there's no real savings to new customers, which is what Tmobile is trying to get, right?

You're an idiot. IF you went to ATT you would have to pay for a phone or sign a 2 year contract with a 200$ etf.. Even more plus doesn't have a contract and no ETF's..

Look.....compare apple to apples.....

Assume I need a phone and I want to switch to Tmobile, what I'm saying is in that case (which would be typical for all new customers TMo is trying to sign up) I'd pay about 100 for unlimited voice text and web. I'd pay the same (wouldnt have unlimited voice, but would make up for I with A-list) with AT&T.

Tell me plain and simple where are the savings for new customers?????

You just need to shut up because you're making yourself look more and more like a big ass. I was a new customer and signed up with TMO and they gave me the unlimitied EVERYTHING for $79. My brother has been a TMO customer, and he was still in contract and switched to the new unlimited EVERYTHING plan. He kept his phone. I got a new phone. What the hell are you talking about?

Ok, I won't call you any names or anything. The "big deal" about this is the Even More Plus plans, not the Even More plans. The Even More plans are still better than the competition's, but the EM+ is not only for people who already have a phone. Anybody can get it. $79.99 gets you unlimited everything, if that's what you're after. You just pay full invoice for the phone. The monthly savings more than make up for the non-subsidized phone. I haven't signed a single customer onto EM, but EM+ is going like crazy. There are huge savings when you save EVERY SINGLE MONTH vs a one-time savings on a phone. Its really, really simple math. If you can't see that, please go take "Intro to middle school math," no offense.

Ha, are you seriously that blind? Think about it. You're paying 99.99 IF YOU'RE GETTING A NEW PHONE.

Whereas, if you decide to be a moron and go with AT&T, you're going to pay the 99.99 and PLUS you're going to have to pay for the new phone upfront.

If you were a customer, which would you rather do? 99.99 a month to get a new phone with T-Mobile, or 99.99 PLUS the price of a new phone UPFRONT with AT&T? Look at it from both sides. You'll see that most customers would probably think it's a pretty good deal (and you don't get unlimited EVERYTHING with AT&T unless you pay $130).

Look at this graph. You'll see how truly game changing Project Black really is:

Why do the TMO employees tend to call anyone that disagrees with them names?

Great business model...

I'm not a T-Mobile employee. I'm not even with T-Mobile right now. I'm stuck with Verizon until my contract expires next year. I wasn't even meaning that in a bad way against people who go with AT&T. I was merely pointing out that anyone who wants to save money would be all for these plans and the 20 month payment plan.

Dude, you're an IDIOT......like you said you're paying 99.99 "IF YOU'RE GETTING A NEW PHONE"

What do you think they're trying to do? Get new customers. Last time I checked if you go to a carrier for new service, unless you have a compatible phone........YOU HAVE TO BUY A PHONE!!!

You all are looking at it from already being with TMobile.

Savings
Phone 399 199
Plan 79.99 99.99

No Months
24 2,319 2,599 280
18 1,839 1,999 160
12 1,359 1,399 40

This would hardly be enough of a savings to motivate people to switch.

It does help to look at it from different perspectives. As an upcoming customer of T-Mobile (I'm currently with Verizon), especially since I plan on getting the BlackBerry Bold 9700, $22.50 a month for 20 months really makes it easy to get the phone I want at a not-so-hard-to-deal-with price, even if I'm paying more for it in the long run. It's just easier. But there are a lot of people who will save money switching from other carriers. It depends on their plan and their situation, like the one I outlined above.

And, in all reality, some of the CURRENT customers of T-Mobile don't benefit much from the new plans either. Some of them have cheaper plans (i.e. myFaves 300).

I have swapped over about 3 dozen people this week to the new even more plus plans. Not a SINGLE one complained about the 35 bucks. I just swapped over one of my regulars who's gonna save 120 bucks a month for unlimited everything on 5 lines. He was more than happy to pay it. What's a one time fee if you're saving money EVERY MONTH. Oh, and nobody is forcing you to change. If you'd rather pay more EVERY month, you are still free to do that as well. Math is hardz...

If it's so good to give away $70 bucks, give me your direct number and extension. I'll call you at whatever time you want me to, and you can pay the $70.

Until YOU are willing to part with YOUR money, then shut your pie hole.

You can either post it here or PM me...I'll be waiting.

Lol, this is laughable. If I will be saving money every month on something, be it cable, power, phone bill, whatever, if a one time payment is quickly made up for in the savings, I will gladly pay the one time payment. Its such simple math, I don't know what's so hard to understand. Your logic makes no sense.

Then pony up the $70 for my upgrade, if money is nothing to you...

I completely understand ROI and break-even points, but I don't understand paying to change a price plan.

I'm still waiting for your PM or #...

Why would anyone pay for someone else to save money? Nobody is asking YOU to pay for someone else... You need to take PHIL 101 to understand basic logic...

Sometimes basic math is hard I guess... To each his own I guess. So hung up over a little fee can't see the big picture. OMG 70$ cry cry cry.. It's hard for me to wrap my brain around this.. I don't understand how people can be so dumb.. Srs.. This is hard stuff..

Its a 1 time fee. Its not a everytime fee. Look around. For the same thing that tmobile has you'd have to pay a lot more. I'm sure you know that already seeing how you said you had "other" carriers including VZW.

Hmm, well if these plans are so bad people sure don't seem to realize it. My store alone has seen 50-60 people at least reduce their monthly plans. We've also seen alot of interest from people with VZW and ATT. Are they as cheap as people thought they would be when the info started leaking? No. But they are good plans and offer customers a compelling choice and value.

Hey PatheticLoser

I'm sure you've had many customers change their plans to save $$. However wasn't the intention behind Project Black to gain subscriptions? I'm sure you've had some non-Tmobile customers inquiring but have you had many closings? That's the true measure if how good the deal is right??

Again I'm not an AT&T fanboy. I've got a tmobile account for 7 yrs now.

Why should I HAVE to do math to save money. If I change to the new plan, I save $10 a month. The charge from TMO would be $70 (3 lines). I would have to spend $70 to save $10...

Why spend anything to save. If I did a price plan change 3 weeks ago I would have been charged ZERO, NADA, ZILCH.

$35 to change a price plan, get real.

I still lol everytime I read one of your posts. It srs makes my day. I now know why our country is so backwards sometimes. Where did you go to school? like back east KY? Is it really hard to understand simple logic? 70$ for a life of saving 10$ per month. If someone came to you and gave you 10$ every month for your 70$ and that was never going to change would you turn that down? Come on be serious...

Once again, you still use no logic. If you were a business that GUARANTEED you would give me $10 every month from here on out, yeah, I'd give you $70. Only a fool wouldn't, but you are just asking for money with nothing in return. Where's the upside? Please go back to school and learn how to construct an argument. I laugh everytime I see one of your posts that seems to have been written by an 8 year old.

I guess it depends on what lol means. If 30 grand+ a year with great benifits and bonus potential for someone that can be barely 18 without a highschool education is lol then I guess maybe Mcdonalds is better? Let's be serious... If i were 18 and making 30,000 a year and had a very good company to work for that treats their employees as good as TMO and that company paid for my school and health insurance I'd be pretty happy with myself. Then after that continue school work hard move up and make twice that. 60k is hardly lol. I know its not "rich" or anything but it sure as hell beats digging ditches or standing in front of walmart with a cardboard sign. I doubt the majority of the people here that post on this make more.
