The Mystery 0f "Project Dark"
So for those of us PhoneScoopers that frequent tmonews.com, there has been a lot of talk about Project Dark, a seceret t-mobile project that is supposedly meant to launch t-mobile off of the number 4 natinoal cell carrier spot. there have been rumors that it's going to involve a new handset lineup, plan restructuring, rebranding, or all/none of the above. Has anyone heard anything different?

Don't play into the hype. I've seen 1 post on 1 site and the rest just quote it.. Supposed to come out yesterday and nothing. There are of course new phones coming out and rp's. Its the holiday season. Everything new comes out in end of 3rd/4th quarter. its called marketing so is also creating hype around products and services.

Well we all see a lot of things that say "it wont be a rate plan change, or a phone" so I mean if you really put everything into consideration, there really is absolutely nothing we can base the outcome on!!!
If everything is true they have done a great job of hiding it hah! I heard from my ADR that they are supposed to go into training for this soon, but even still they wont be able to know what it is. So they are training for something that they dont know about until it actually releases... (LOL?) Also according to my ADR only a few people within T-Mobile know about it, and they had to sign come paperwork of confidentiality or something... CREEPY if you ask me!

Ehh... We'll see when the time gets there. I just don't think that a rate or a phone can make such a big difference as to move T-Mobile from #4. Gotta wait and see!!!

A $50 plan combined with handset options if played without competition for at least 3 quarters would likely put T-mobile in the #3 position.
Because wireless is a competitive industry, that's a whole lot of if's.

I have figured out what project dark is. I heard from some insiders that tmobile is bringing the pager back. And for a $20 a month plan you get unlimited pages nationwide and unlimited calling from an "in network" of payphones around the country.
They are calling it "the retro plan"

haha...pagers...haha
btw...how'd u figure that out? 🤨

Pagers=Dark Ages. Hence: Project Dark
