i hate tmobile customer service. i am a att csm. compared to the service i provide w/att, and the service tmobile provides to me. tmobile sucks. 👿

everytime i call from my phone i wait 30+mins to speak w/rep. from my husband phone. 2mins. no exaggeration. it always says your call will b answered in the order it was received, but i can be on the phone for 20 mins and he will call while im waiting and get right thru. its stupid.

tmobile charges an upgrade fee of $18 for buying a phone at full price. That doesnt make any sense. i didnt upgrade. didnt extend my contract. BOUGHT IT AT FULL PRICE. it wasnt an upgrade. wtfs up wit that? makes no sense.

they dont prorate removal of features. i called to remove my intl disct plan,...

hmm i dont pay attention to any of that from either att or tmobile thats not what matters to me. what matters is how i get treated as a tmobile customer. and how i treat my customers.

Thats funny, because everytime I have called AT&T I've had up to a 1/2 wait. You maybe a good rep, but AT&T does have a lot of bad ones!

I call customer care a lot, and I have only had one bad rep from AT&T. Their customer service is decent. Their network...eh that's another story...

Well, I have both of those carriers. 1 is my personal, & the other is for work. I will say that T-mobiles Customer Service is a lot better than AT&Ts. They have been better trained, & have always been great with me. Yes, I do work in the wireless industry. (No I dont work for AT&T or T-mo!)I work as a cell-site tech(contractor for a private company). Both carriers have their faults with the networks in diffrent markets. ALL Carriers nickel & dime you for every penny, Thats just how they all work.

Funny thing is even with your discount that you get for being a ATT csr ou are still with TMO... Sorry you have to wait your turn to get helped. Obviously there is a reason why you don't even use your own company's service... If it weren't for the iphone ATT would be horrible everything and you writting this proves it.

I'm probably still with tmo bcuz my contract hasn't expired... I'm not payn etfs. I can't afford it. But u prob didn't think bout that.
And as far as waitn my turn. If u reread u will see how I. Said that when I'm waitn for a csr and my hubby calls after I'm still waitn he gets right thru... so really. Waitn my turn is not it. There is ppl that call after and get thru.. if u wanna come ovr I'll demonstrate.. ha ha

Well, I know before when I would say complaint to the IVR with T-Mobile it would try to xsfr me to Loyalty which of course is a long wait. But if I said "rate plan change", I would get right through. Sometimes it depends on what you are requesting. And didn't you know you can chat with an online rep or e-mail them just like with AT&T!? Being a good rep to your customers is different compared to how others treat you. So far I only have had two major issues with T-Mobile. Otherwise I can't complain.

The only time I had to wait for customer service more than 3 or 4 minutes was when they had to shut down service centers due to a hurricane. It seems strange that your husband can get through quickly but you can't. If I want to talk to a customer rep, all I say it "representative" and I always get through with little to no wait.
I haven't had a lot of issues with Tmobile. Most of my problems have been equipment or problems that weren't really Tmobile's fault. I did have one problem that was a bit frustrating to get repaired and took a month, but that was with their @home router which was relatively new at the time. But a sympathetic rep gave me a full month of free service for my trouble. Can't complain about that.
I have been wit...

If there's one thing I know for sure, it's that customers don't know what the hell they're talking about! Yes, that includes me.

kiwinka89 I'm sorry that you have to wait to get through to Customer Care. A lot of it depends on what options you go through in the automated IVR systems, etc. Also, it depends on what call center your call is routed to. One call center may have 100 calls waiting, while another has 100 reps available. Regardless, you have the option to continue waiting on hold, or to call back at a later time.
No matter what company you work for, or what company you use for your wireless service...you're still going to be treated as any other customer would be treated. Granted, not all reps (no matter what company) are as good as others, but there's no special treatment.

Kiwi if you work for AT&T then you should understand queues and call routing. For example on a Saturday your call center might be slow with probably 10minutes availability while mine might be back to back. And just because you two are on the same account does not mean you will get routed to the same call center. The same with AT&T. And I can not help but concur with 20momof3 as they said it best!

Now that I can understand it, I can answer you:

They're open 24 hours. Call when it's more convienent for you.

🙂 We do pride ourselves on outstanding customer service! It makes me feel appreciated when I hear ppl acknowledge us & say how we are polite. All I hear is how awful we are when we don't give ppl what they want. I guess that comes with the field though, can't please all of the ppl all of the time. That kind of goes with the saying: "It's not my job to blow sunshine up your @ss". But IS my job to treat you with dignity & kindness. 😁
