Hello-

I'm looking at different carriers for my next cell phone and was curious to see what some of your unbiased reviews are of TM, why you picked it, etc. Thanks in advance...

I recently ported from VZW to T-Mobile. It really depends on the area where you live. Some providers work better in some. You should try looking at Consumer Reports. Another thing to consider is the type of network, CDMA or GSM.

My reasons for switching are because I plan on doing a lot of outside traveling and I prefer the freedom of the SIM card that the GSM network provides. I was with VZW for about 3 years and they have the best CDMA network, along with great customer service. T-Mobile had a better plan to suit my calling habits than ATT and Cingular. Well, I guess I should clerify something. Yes, I do work for TM now, but I've only worked here about 6 months or so. Believe me or not, I was so happy with the way I was treated and the quality of coverage in my area, I applied to the local call center here in Oregon. Other than a few stupid management issues, I haven't been this happy in a job position or this happy with a phone service in... well, way too long.

Cheers,
Nik
