ATTWS is offering EDGE, Verizon is offering 1xEV-DO, Sprint is offering cdma2000. So what's TM's plan for higher data rates on their cellular net? GPRS is fine for Blackberry type stuff but on a laptop no way. Just back from Europe where colleagues had EGDE cards in their Laptops and it rocks!

Alrighty ajohnston...well yes as much as each of those are offering higher data speeds, its more of a question of how "reliable" those technologies are. EDGE has not yet gone into full acceptance. We are slowly working into a higher speed wireless network, for right now we are the only company that offers the T1 speed abroad with our "HotSpot" technology which is available nationwide in Starbucks, Borders, and the major airports through the 802.11b technology.

But keep in mind new Techologies are coming up on the horizon to replace our current Sierra Wireless Cards with 56K speed.

I get the message. Thanks. And, Oh, way the way... can you put some coverage in ZIP 45320? It's were my parents inlaw live and it's the only place in the country were I go a lot and can't use my phone. There's coverage to the North on I-70, to the West in Richmond, IN and to the East in Dayton, OH.

As far as coverage goes, we are expanding @ a very fast rate, we have just launched a roaming agreement with RCC Communications which will be helping the north east big in the states of NH, VT, and upstate NY...as far as the midwest to west corridor, that will be coming as of later this year, maybe sooner, it all comes down to the demand needed in those areas.

Keep an eye out.
