I have to say I am not usually one who posts about phones but I need to inform all of you who are looking for a phone that this phone kicks butt! I have been a Samsung phone owner for years but they are rally boring lately. This phone has everything you could ever want and at a fraction of the cost. For 1 year extendsion $199 with a $50 mail in rebate for a final cost of $149 or a 2 year extension is $149 with a $50 mail in rebate for a final cost of $99. Now granted, I bought the phone outright and paid more than someone who would want to extend their contract but I am tired of T-Mobile or any carrier for that matter having me "under a contract" I finally have the plan I want which is more minutes than I could ever imagine for the right pric...

Thank you for your review of the nokia 6133, I am considering purchasing the phone because I need a phone with the best reception possible, because I travel through an area where reception is not the best and with my current phone, i do not get any signal in the area where travel to ,,, how is the battery life? is it that bad? have you compared the reception to the Razr or Pebl? Thank you for any input,,

I got this phone 5 days ago. Excellent reception and hold a strong signal. Compared to the razr, the signal is stronger for sure and the voice quality is the same. I have had 2 razrs and the voice quality is was great on both.

Now for the battery-Sucks. Plain and simple. I talk quite a bit so the battery will not last a full day. It will however, last all day if talking is minimal. I haven't used the MP3 or video player, but I can't imagine how draining it must be to the battery.

If you purchase this phone buy a car charger. The is true for the Razr-you need a car charger.

It is an AWESOME handset.

Talk time should be about 3.5 hours, and standby time is 300 hours, so using the phone actually does use QUITE a bit of power.

Yep, same here, love the phone, hate the battery life but no prob with me since I charge the phone nightly. With all the disatisfaction coming from consumers about battery life, why cant cell phone manufacturers somehow come up with upgraded or improved batteries with a longer life. Apple was able to do it with their redesigned Ipod Nanos. The battery life on the Nano was increased from 14 hours to 24 hours..(so they say 🙂 )

like high-res bright screens (and two of them) cameras, BT, etc. That we all want these days 🙂 , all of which outpaces the capacity to build better and smaller batteries. Remember as well that they have to consider size and weight especially.

Thank you so much for your input,, I do use my cell phone quite a bit, so battery life is pretty important to me,, which is why I am torn,, I need the best reception, which you have helped me with,, although i need good battery life too ,, do you think if I went with the Razr, my signal will be as good as the Nokia 6133 ? I wonder, maybe Nokia will come up with a better battery ,, Nokia 6133 also supports Edge, which the Razr does not,
seems like the Nokia is the better phone all around except for the battery,, by the way did you ever have any problems with the Razr? was it a dependable phone for you?
