If you want full functionality on this phone buy an unlocked one. The assholes at T-Mobile disabled using MP'3 as ringtones UNLESS you buy it from them. What a bunch of horse ****!
Tmobile just screwed up the coolest Nokia phone they have EVER had.
I have an unlocked Nokia 6131 and it's the best phone I've ever had.
...
there is fix for this so your post is meaningless. ๐
...
I put Mp3 ringtones on it. How did you go about trying to get the ringtones on the phone.
...
The hell with the fix.... Tmobile disabled the "use tone" feature.
F that crap.
...
ok then dont buy the phone and be happy with the phone you have now
...
I said I DID get ringtones on it. I'm asking him what ways he tried to put them on there, not you. ๐
...
ok I am so sorry... ๐
...
I don't have a 6133 from T-Mobile. I have a 6131 from Ebay, and so I know how cool the phone is. I was reading that people now have to convert the files to another format then put them back on the phone and it will work, but who wants to go through all of that? They shouldn't have messed with perfection.
...
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ๐คฃ
...
So you have never had the 6133, you just read a post of someone else and then without ever trying to put ringtones on it yourself, you decided to bash the phone. ๐ฟ Pretty dumb.
And go through all of what, and extra 10 seconds? Its not like you just snap your fingers and ringtones jump on your phone as it is. ๐คจ
...
I didn't bash the phone, the phone is great! I bashed for disabling the cool features. Right now I can put the SD card in my laptop, move the files over and put the SD card back in my phone without converting anything, and that is how it should be
...
wow what a huge issue ๐
...

...
Hey Danielle.
What you need to do is call Tmobile and tell them to send you the settings for picture/text messages. Then go into the Multimedia message menu and pick ALLOW. That should take care of it
