My parents live in Europe and calls me from time to time. So, when they call do I have to pay or it just cost me my minutes? Another important piece of puzzle for me to return.
Thnk you!

I know in Europe both the calling and receiving party has to pay for the call.

Just the calling party. Since you're not roaming, they're ordinary calls. It's your parents that will have to pay for int'l calling.

Canada and the US have called party pays. To call a mobile number costs the same as to call any other number. Receiving costs the same always unless you are roaming in Canada. Alos other international roaming you pay roaming costs also.

What?
So, I have to pay as well?
That's the way the North American mobile system works. You pay for both incoming and outgoing calls. The person calling you doesn't pay a premium however to call you as is the case in caller pays countries such as in Europe and in Asia. All calls to mobile cost the same as to call any other numbers.
