Phone Upgrades

That sounds kinda stupid...why would a company not allow a customer to upgrade to a just released brand new phone if they're eligible to upgrade???
They are allowed to but it's just that the cost will be rather significant. This is why I never go to the direct store and go to athird party store like Car Toys, where I got my X-105 for free after all rebates.
If Car Toys is not in your area, then my next advice would be to check your local papers for the next major T-Mobile advertiser in your local area in order to try and squeeze out the deal for this. Chances are it may work out for the better more often than not. Just to illustrate my point, my friend living in NYC/NJ metro area just...

I have been a T-MO customer for five months, using a Samsung SGH-E715. Yesterday I called customer service and ordered a V600. They told me the $299 price online is only for new customers. The upgrade price (as best I can recall) was $399. They gave me a $45 discount based upon my agreement to sign a new 1-year contract. So I actually paid about $350, and should receive my phone in 3 days. Hopefully they worked out the bugs 'cuz $350 is almost ridiculously expensive for a phone that is now "old!"
Should have stuck it out with the Samsung E 715. IMHO, that was the better phone. Motorola v 600 IMHO still has issues.

My t730 worked fine (except for the not so lound ear piece volume), and I recently used a v300 for a while and found it to be a nice phone (after the bugs had been worked out in later versions).
What Drama? Are you passing up a wide open opportunity to rip on Motorola? You must be feeling ill...

You're such a punk! What about this "leaking lubricant" business you harped on a few weeks ago? I TOLD you that phone wasn't a bad piece of equipment. Now you owe me a steak. 😛
P.S. I swear the thing was leaking lubricant. Damndest thing I've ever seen a cell phone do.
P.P.S. Starr! Save me! He's mistaken witty banter for flirting!
