Hi everyone...Just a quick question to all of you out there who may know about the T609. I am currently on the E335 which was discontinued a while ago. Lately I have noticed with my E335 that when I make a call sometimes or when I receive a call sometimes the other party cannot hear me. I can hear them fine but they cannot hear me. I have to hang up and redial. I am not sure if this is a hint of something to come or what not so I have decided to upgrade. I hve taken a liking to the Samsung T609. I have read reviews on it in a number of plaes and now I am asking the group. What does everyone think of the phone?(besides the cheesy white color) Does anyone have any insight on wheter I should move ahead and get it or should I look elsewhere? It ...

The t809 comes with a 32mb removable memory card and a CD that has a program you can load onto your computer and manage all the files on your phone and add MP3's onto your phone. It is more expensive because it comes with all this stuff.

The t609 has a slot for a memory card on the side, but doesn't come with one. Most of the people in my store who are looking for the t609 end up spending the extra $50 and get the t809.

The t809 also has a larger on phone memory than the t609 which means you can hold more mp3 files on the phone.

The T609 is a GREAT phone. The ONLY thing I dislike about it is the fact that it will not ring and vibrate simultaneously. It will vibrate THEN ring. As for the $50 dollar price difference, save the $50 get the T609 and for $50 you can get a 1GB MicroSD on pricewatch.com Alot better than the 64mb the t809 has. The T609 runs circles around the t809 in battery life, reception, and volume, but the t809 has a transflective screen so it can be seen just fine in daylight. All in all- go with the T609, you won't be disappointed.

I am somewhat skeptical of Motorola nowadays. I have not had great experiences with them going back to the v300. Although a family member has it but doesnt use it for all the features it offers. Still undecided but thanks for the input!!

I have also had problems with Motorolas but the V360 has worked perfectly and I've had it for almost a year.
