Blind Loyalty...Is Any Carrier Worth The Arguing.

Now I work for Cingular as a independent rep and enjoy reading how other reps feel about new company policies and phones and so forth. Yet everytime I visit these forums I always see someone doing the usually Cingular Sucks or Verizon Is Terrible or TMobile is Crap posts and I really wonder is this my service is better than ur service really worth the time it consumes. I know there are a few customers who check out these forums before going into a store because they think its honest, fair comments but its really not. This loyalty to a carrier bs is getting old because no one is really loyal when they always check if another carrier has a better deal for them.

If your a customer and you read this please dont fall into some of these posts b...

As a customer, I agree 100%! Not every carrier will please everyone. Do the research, learn the individual strengths and weaknesses, then make an informed decision, realizing that no one is perfect. Remember, you can attract more flies with honey than vinegar!

without the radiation!!!! lol 🤣

but i think this is the best entry i ever saw, this blind loyalty to comapanies is actually funny, i laugh at these entries that say cingular sucks, or tmo sucks or vzw sucks or cingy's the best, tmo's the best blah blah blah and see all these people lose their maturity(for those who have it) in these forums,
they would defend their company to the death, especially verizon salesman, hey i say it like i see it.

like i have a friend who uses tmo and loves it but wants to work for verizon

i really dont care what people use, i use and like cingular because it uses gsm and i like that technology, i like their data and their plans(except the txt/internet plans) and i like their 3g network and i can...

👀 I think people who use regional carriers, Us Celluar, Metropcs and a few others have deep personal problems. But outside of that i totally agree with this post.

i personally work for verizon wireless. i agree 100% also with deviljin on this. People need to discover for themselves. if somethings works for you great if not try elsewhere. No cell phone company works everywhere and may not ever. it is funny seeing the people fight to the death over a cell phone. also i think this is the first time i have agreed with a cingular rep 😳 . Time to celebrate i think we should crack open the bottle of wine.

I so agree. People fighting for thier carrier is rediculous! Thier carrier is NOT paying them to advertise or advocate for them. They are paying the carrier for the wireless service. I had T-Mobile and I cancelled with them to go back ...

Cell phone loyalty is DUMB!!

Go with a company that suits you. For instance, I would love to use a GSM phone but due to limited coverage I can't use them. So I suck up the pain and use Verizon. I do whine about the ugly phones and the bluetooth restrictions with Verizon but I am laughing my a** off when I have coverage and others don't.

But as soon as GSM coverage in the US is as wide as they have in Europe I am coming back to the 21st century and use GSM.

Sorry, but coverage in the US will *never* be as good as it is in Europe. Economy of scale just says it can't happen. There are vast areas of the US that have near zero population. It's econommically unfeasable to cover every ...

Actually economy has nothing to do with GSM coverage. There enough money to send rockets to space building cell phone towers is not costly. GSM needs to add more coverage in rural areas.

And by the way, there is coverage on the Alps. I grow up in Europe and skied in the Alps and talked on my GSM phone with no issues.

You are of course right. I was just doing it from memory but checking GSM world it's pretty evident that there's almost ubiquitous coverage at least through TDC and Swisscom. It appears that Orange has slightly less complete coverage but still looks pretty good as compared to what you see for coverage in the US.

As far as putting up towers it may not cost as muc...

I feel the same way, you can barely decide on what phone you really want because of such mixed reviews. I switched from Sprint due to customer service not making notations and constantly having to call and call. I loved the phones though, thought best in industry. I recently switched to T-Mobile, their customer service online and in-store has been awesome. The phones are ok, and right now choosing between T509 and Razr V3 because the T635 was too small although it was a great phone. So I agree that if u have complaints that are warranted maybe there should be a separate folder for those who really wish to help out people.
