we got ours too, but all it will say is waiting for activation. Do you have to have the Sidekick plan to even access main menu?

How are the buttons? That's one thing I thought was really cheap about the SK2 was that the buttons would fall off after some time and there's no way to replace them. Are the buttons gonna fall off on the SK 3 too?

How about that track ball on the new sidekick. I love that thing. Looks like you are moving a crystal ball. The screen on the phone is nice too. Adjusted the settings and it looks great.

after using it for a few days...
bluetooth is nice, but you cant use it with the mp3 player. that means you gotta use the wired earpiece, or loud speaker..and thats not loud enough when theres other background noise. you cant use a universal headphone port either.
the scroll ball is nice. goes up and down, side to side..whatever direction yyou put it. itll go, but it only recognizes left right up down. its kinda like the old roll on deodorant balls. way better than the sk2s wheel.
keypad isnt falling off anytime soon, and is just as easy to use as the previous sk keypads.
camera still sucks. they should went big, or at least had zoom.
web is def. alot faster. comparing the 2 and 3 side to side...sk3 blows it out of the water....

since we've only had it for about a week now, and have yet to throw it off of a wall...dunno yet. it should be as durable as the sk2, if not more? but again, havent yet tried to test that.
and im sure there will be plenty of cases for it; some made by danger/t-mobile, and some aftermarket(just like everything else).
