Better GSM Network????
I'm thinking about switching to TMobile for a variety of reasons; rate plans, customer services, flexibility, etc.
I just don't know what to expect. All the review and ratings I've read are based on overall service. I'm looking for real world, call quality opinion.
Does anyone have any thing to say about the comparison between Cingular and TMobile's networks?

If you really not sure, get a prepaid T-mobile phone and try it out in your area. If it doesn't work than you didn't loose much. Than you can just sell the prepaid phone on Ebay.

It may be "similar" now but cingular also has access to the old ATTWS network the so called "blue network." Whether this makes for better or worse coverage I couldn't say.
On average, I would say my coverage is about the same as my girlfriend's. No realy complaints except inside some stores (the Ralphs and the Home Depot I get no service, but from what I rmember her Cingular service isn't much better in those spots.
I've been with T-Mobile since they were Voicestream and I lived in North Jersey/NYC area. I also had them up in San Francisco, so it's been about 6/7 years or so and whatever they have lacked in the occasional area of coverage, they've ...
