NEED PHONE ADVICE!!!!!!!

I have had my Nokia 6101 for 6 months. This phone is pretty good except all of the sudden it started turning off on its own and when listening to hi-fi ringtones it would skip then turn off. I am ready to get a newer, better phone but I know I can't get an upgrade so I was wondering how much would it cost to buy a new phone. I was thinking of going to eBay but wasn't sure if that was the best way to go. If you have any suggestions PLEASE post. THANK YOU!!! 🙂 😁 😉

You can see if you can at least get a replacement working phone under warranty. If you want a different phone you can ask TMobile the cost with no contract or use someone like simoncells.com or one of the other sellers listed on this site to buy an unlocked phone.

You can also go buy a Tmobile prepaid phone relatively inexpensive or at least cheaper than trying to buy a phone w/o contract. However, you are limited to just a selection of a few phones offered by Tmobile. Just stick your sim card in and your ready to go.

You can use any phone that T-Mobile sells for prepaid. Whether you can get any sort of good deal is another matter. You can also get an unlocked GSM outside of T-Mobile and use that as well. You are only limited by what you can afford to get for yourself.

If you have insurance and a warranty go ahead and get it repaired or replaced then sell it. People who are looking for a unlocked phone will usually pay around 150 for a good one and since it is new (if you get it repaired or whatever) then you will be able to charge more. Do that and then look for a new phone at the same time, that way as you look for buyers you can look for sellers as well. look on Local places like craigslist as well only because you would be able to deal with people on a one on one baisis with the transaction.

You actually ARE available for an upgrade, just not a fully discounted upgrade...but you would have to extend your contract 2 years. I'm gonna say your best bet is eBay. Search for a T-Mobile phone or an unlocked gsm phone.
