Anyone from Tmobile know the upgrade policy? I bought my V300 back in April. I had two replacement units already. It's not a good quality phone, and now I keep getting refurbs that have additional problems.
I'd like to upgrade to the v600 when it comes out. My current V300 is about to be sent back, for a third time. Is there anything that I can demand? After 3 phones and less then 90 days, I should be able to demand a different phone and not pay huge fees for it.
Anyone know? I can't get too many answers from Tmobile.
Thank you in advance!

Hmm for your case, call customer service and see if they can work out something.

OK, I received my replacement phone last nite. Guess what? The phone receiver doesnt work! I can use the speakerphone and my headset but not just the receiver alone! I guess I got another refurb as a replacement phone! so frustrating! This is my 3rd replacement phone! I called tmobile today and I'll be getting another replacement phone, hopefully it isnt a refurb!
Does Tmobile have any policy on replacement phones, if I can request to get another type of phone, instead of the V300? In my case, its not that I don't like my V300 and I want the latest and greatest...I want another phone because I keep receiving defective phones! I've only been a Tmobile customer for 2 months and this is now my 3rd defective phone, and I'll be rece...

The only policy that will help you is called lnp. Tmobile's handset exchange program is garbage. The only way to get another phone is to get a credit on an upgrade, which you don't qualify for yet obviously.

Actually, it might benefit you to call in to customer care and make sure you emphasize the point that you've had so many exchanges in such a short period of time--we really do try to make it right for our customers. HOWEVER, that being said, why in the world would you think that going from one Motorola TroublePhone(TM) to another is a good idea? The V600, from what I've gathered in the forums here from carriers who already have it, seems to be experiencing a LOT of the EXACT same issues as the V300. Make yourself and us poor CC reps happy and go with a different manufacturer--Moto don't agree with you! 😁

After multiple exchanges of a v60 I wrote a letter to t-mobile to explain why I would be porting my number out. It was only after this letter that I was able to "upgrade" to an entry level Nokia. Maybe the poor CC reps should offer to upgrade him to phone from a different manufacturer. By the way I didn't choose the v60, the poor CC reps sent it to me after my other MOTO was recalled.

🙂 There is a new program that was designed for this type of situations. Unfortunately the phone that you will receive is not a Moto v600, however it is a great phone. I recommend you, like Aleq said, to emphasize the fact that this is your 4th exchange. I'm sure you will be really satisfied w/ the replacement. 😉
Have a nice day.

Idra82, What phone would replace my defective v300? Please let me know and maybe I'll call. Is this "new" replacement program have a name? How can I refer to it when I call Tmobile?
Thank you in advance, I sincerely appreciate everyone's help!

This new program is called the "Multiple Exchange" program. All you need to do is call in to customer care, let the representative know you're having probs and this would be your fourth exchange and that you wanted to look at getting a different phone instead of the same phone again. We developed the program specifically for situations such as this. 🙂

moviespaz, do you know what type of phone I would get using the "multiple exchange" program, if I have a v300? Yes, this is my 4th one, I like the phone but I can't seem to receive one that works. Seems like I'm in "refurb hell" even though my last request I begged them to give me a new phone.
Thanks for your help in advance! I sincerely appreciate it.
