I HATE you Motorola burn in hell!

I work for direct retail, and we just got the message to NOT sell any more Razrs whatsoever. Not as upgrades, not with no acts, never, ever. The Razrs that Motorola sent out after February 1st are all defective. There's something wrong with the screens, they eventually stop working. You know what kind of hell this causes on the retail sales reps and worst of all to the customers? What a damn atrocity. Any of you guys that have seen my other posts know how much I hate Motorola, but I always believed that they finally did the right thing with the Razr. I guess I was wrong, and I was also right in that Motorola SUCKS, and I should have only sold Nokia and Samsung because they seem to make good phones that last, especially Nokia.

No wor...

Yup, just heard no more RAZRs. I only have 2 in stock anyway. T-Mobile.com pulled them off earlier today.

oi. At least this time they decided to admit that the device is a piece of crap... 😕

Yes! thank you! when people come in for a stupid SLVR or ROKR I wanna scream(I work in retail by the way). Moto has not made a good phone since before I ever worked here. I also bought the RAZR thinking, "sweet, this phone seems to work." 4 months later my opinion was different. I'm so glad T-MO and Cingulards told moto to get their crap together before we sell any more. I'm with you on the samsung and nokia thing. Moto can fool the crowds with flashy phones, but when every dealer knows they suck, how well do they expect to do? I hope they figure something out cause I hate to be so biased, but MOTO makes my job extremely difficult.

right. Maybe moto thinks that if they tell us that the problem only occured post-Feb 1, we will be stupid enough to forget the 95% failure rate in every other phone they'be sold in the last two years. Don't forget the Moto v300, WORST phone ever! I'll take a siemens cf62t over that piece

Well, being that they do sell a lot of phones, a bad batch was bound to happen. I've had my RAZR since December and I don't have any bugs in the my phone.

It's not just a bad batch. Motorola is a bad company. Sure some people have the razr and had no problems. I know people that have the v188 and some of them are lucky enough to not have any problems within the first 6 months. That's great. But Motorola has made so many bad phones for so long.

Motorola is a lot like Budweiser. No offense for you guys that might happen to like Budweiser, but the vast majority of people in the world will agree that it's a horrible beer. But it is the highest selling beer because of one reason- marketing. Motorola and Budweiser are the perfect examples that in this day in capitalism, you don't need a good product, you just need a lot of gullible people.

I can respect your opinion on the matter. But I still love Moto. I have been using Moto phones for 10 years now and never have problems with them. I tried nokia and samsung, but they were never as good as my Moto phones, so I stick to Moto. I guess I must be part Irish. I'm just luck with the Moto phones I have had (i1000 plus, V60, T722i, and the V3). Not one of them ever acted up. And I average about 3 years on a phone. 🙂

You do realize that all cell phones, no matter what make and model, are made by humans, right? Any phone can have problems. It doesn't mean that the company is bad.
We have only had one customer come in with a defective razor after Feb. 1st and she didn't even buy it from us!
I have a Treo 650 that constantly locks up and the screen goes blank daily. I don't post that Treo sucks as a company!
Get over it and recommend a different phone until the problem is fixed!

Actually cell phones are manufactured in factories and are built by machines. Could you imagine if every phone was hand made? Anyways, Nokia and Samsung seem to have their machines working darn near perfection. Why can't Motorola? Have you ever processed returns for a cell phone store? Why does Motorola have way more returns than any other company?

You're the first and only person who has defended Moto. All the 40 other people that have replied to this string acknowledged that, at least up to a point, Motorola has a lot of problems. I think that in itself says something. I just hate companies that profit by making crappy products.

The only Moto phone I think is decent is the v 300. Mine still works, and aside from a slow menu, I like it a lot.

But I would never get another phone from them, I think that only the V300 is really worth having.

exactly... now motorola said they arent concern with quality over their problems with the razr. lol..

motorola hates nextel and thats a fact.. perhaps if nokia and others develop better phones, better features and at a better price point then i think motorola will have tons of trouble..

the 870 is one of the worst phones motorola has made for nextel.

yea that is true with regarding the MP3 player.

i think motorola/nextel's best phone was the 1000 plus. (way back in the day)

their wost phones; 730, 830, 870, 930 (for being so late to the market) and probably others lol...

good phones; 860, 605, 930 (now since its out), 530, and a few others.
