Yeah, I'm kind of new to all of this. Could someone with a little more experience explain Smart Access plans to me a little more. Just like what happens when a customer only qualifies for that or something. What do you have to tell them.. etc., etc. This is only my second weekend working so I am just trying to gain a little more knowledge instead of looking like a fool

I already answered this in the general forum, but this is actually the better place to post this question. You don't need to post the same question in a bunch of different forums though. Try one, and if you don't get any action try another.

You a dealer or something?
Smart access very easy to explain: cust has a $150 limit on thier account, so if they go over there min and the and the overage brings the spending limit bal over $150 the account is suspended untill they bring it down under $100. Ther are some limits like a customer can only be on certain rp the 29.99 plan 39.99 plan with nights and the 39.99 w/o nights the 39.99 plan with just 1000 min and the 49.99 3000 min reginal plan as well as a sidekick plan. but after a year of service with no more than one suspension or cancellations for non payment in the last six months the account can be converted to a regular account and will be eligable for a second line with no deposit if a customer has had more than one suspention...

No, 1000 minutes with free nights and weekends for 59.99 is a standard rate plan available everywhere. The special plan in select markets is the same thing for 39.99. Otherwise there is the Get More 1000 without nights and weekends for 39.99 just about everywhere else.

I read the other posts, I just misunderstood you. T-Mobile generally doesn't allow Smart Access customers to have $59.99 a month plans, so I assumed you were talking about the regular plans. I didn't know that they relaxed those rules in those two markets. My bad.

You asked, what do you have to tell them. Are you wondering what specifics about smart access to tell the customer? Or are you asking what it means to be on smart access?

I had that question when I first started selling T-Mobile. I tell people that this is a program that gives people a middle ground between having good enough credit to get approved with no deposit and paying $500 for a deposit.

That makes quite a few understand why they are on smart access without getting mad. You might also throw in that if they are approved for smart access, it's a good chance that they might have to pay a deposit with just about every other company out there. That usually maeks them feel better and makes the plan sound more important and spec...

I mean kind of both what specifics about smart access to tell the customer and also what it means to be on smart access.
