Just wondering if anyone has had luck dealing with retentions to get a bargain on the T809 yet??? If you have, let me know what sort of rock bottom deal you were able to achieve...I'm looking to buy in the next few weeks and seeking to know what sort of leverage I have at this time. Thanks in advance for your help!

Nicely done. I ended up just settling for the V3. Besides, I didn't need all the functions that the T809 has, I may have liked all of them, but all I really needed was the BT. And the price on the RAZR was great.

$99 for a (2 year agreement or 1 year agreement?) on MOTO V3 RAZR vs. RIM BB 7105T for $70 after rebates for a 1 year agreement. Price after rebate is irrespective of upgrade of new service activation from a 3rd party retailer, not T-Mobile directly!

I was not trying to downplay your judgement or anything but just merely stating that if you wanted to pay less for a BT phone and still end up with a 1 year extension on agreement...

Your opinion is a good one, I don't have any issue with it. Price wise you are correct, but for many reasons, the BB really wouldn't be the best choice for me.

Ya, but I don't like BB. The V3 was 99 for one year. I didn't want a two year because of issues with my employment as a contractor. When times get tough I don't need to be locked into something I can't afford. If I had done a two year, it would have been 50 bucks. I still wouldn't have gotten a BB just because I don't really like them or smart phones.
