For the people that lives in Los Angeles, how's the coverage with TMobile? I do business travel from downtown LA to Simi Valley and would like to switch to TMobile because i want the T809 and getting tired of Verizon bricks. Thanks.

The coverage I noticed is excelent on all the freeways in southern california and the service is excellent. I would get t-mobile becuz its cheap and they have a better phone selection then they did before. There service is really good. But building isnt that good sometimes.

If you want to stay with Verizon, they now have the V3c. Looks sweet. But if you want to join our wonderful T-Mobile family, then great. Coverage in LA is pretty good. However, like all cell phones there is spotty coverage all over because of all the hills in the region. I don't know much about Simi, but my phone worked well in Simi and most if not all of the commute. When I say well, I mean full bars. However, there are areas in San Fernando and in Palos Verdes and Long Beach that the coverage gets a little spotty and the signal strength isn't great, more like two or three bars. True, but Verizon and Nextel seem to work the best there. Then Cingular. And T-Mobile and Sprint seem to be about equal there. The biggest problem for improvement in PV is trying to get the residents to allow more towers, which they are against. But they love to complain that their connection sucks... 🤣

Yes.. they are rather loving of their views.. but also have the problem that they love their habitual conversations on there cell phone. My dad has way too many calls where the other person drops the call.

Sounds good. I know I will get more drop calls with TMobile compare to Verizon, but as long as its not as bad as Cingular. By the way amagorno, I would definitely go with the T809 instead of the RAZR (i can have that with Verizon but decided not to, phone is a year old). I just hope that the T809 is not a buggy phone. Thanks for all your replies guys.
