So since I really want a pda/smartphone it looks like I need to buy one. Does any have any recommendations? My concern is if I buy, for example a treo 650, it will not work properly with Tmobile. Also where is a good place to purchase one, other than ebay?

What about the Nokia N80? It looks like it isn't business-oriented, but it looks like it has great features such as viewing email attachments.

I have been researching the phones you mention, but am considering the N80 as well. Anyone know where to get unlocked phones from a completely reliable place?

If you buy an unlocked Treo 650, you shouldn't have a problem using it with T-Mo. Beware, most people I know with Treo 650s are not happy with the phone. I'm holding out for the Moto Q or some other equivalent.

I went into my local T-Mobile store today to inquire if they heard of any PDA phones coming out soon. I didn't name any ones specifically so as not to lead them on. I was told the Moto Q would be out in February. I asked about the MDA Vario, and they didn't know anything about that phone.

Has anyone else heard anything about these two phones coming to T-Mobile?

Wow. Near $500. 😲 I wonder if the overseas model will cost less. Plus I wonder which model they have. Example, the K-Jam or the Qtek 9100 model.

That's excellent news! It's hard to know what to believe with all the rumors that end up going around on the net. Thanks!
