Does T-Mo/Cingular Have?

I've been with T-Mobile for a while now, but I am starting think about features that the GSM carriers don't have. I have noticed that Sprint and Verizon have PCS Vision and V-Cast. They have streaming download with those functions and it seems real cool. So far as I can tell, T-Mobile and Cingular don't have a similar function. I know it sounds stupid to even ask about it, but I do get board when waiting at restaurants or for meetings, so I usually just hit T-Zones and browse what little of the net I can get to with my old phone. I was thinking it might be worth the switch to have either the PCS Vision or V-Cast function, as it appears to have more function and capability. Any advice?

You don't think that PCS Vision is that much better? I didn 't think T-Zones had streaming video? PCS Vision is also EV-DO where as T-Zones rides a slow data transfer. Can T-Zones do streaming video?

Yeah, but its a gimmick that some peeps will want regardless of the small screen.

I mean, lookit how popular the video iPod is turnin' out to be, even with its small screen. Sure, most peeps are buyin' it fo' the music capabilities, but Apple's also reportin' an awful lotta video downloads from itunes. Someone's watchin' video onna small screen.

Mobile TV sure ain' for everyone, but it'll have its place, a'ight? 🙂

True, but even the iPod screen is much larger than a phone screen.

That said, if you enjoy it, then you should go for it.

I guess you missed the part, where that gimmick is something I was looking for to keep me from being bored in certain situations as described. So, gimmick or no, battery life really is small point, since I carry my chargers with me. Screen size isn't an issue either. I'm on the move alot. You get used to travel size when you're on the go.

A charger ain' gonna do you no good when you're out on the street and you get the low battery warning.

A car charger won't do you one bit of good when you're on the street. You have this idea that you're always going to have an electrical source to plug into when you're watching Desperate Housewives on your phone. If you constantly have to be hooked up somewhere to get power you've defeated the purpose of having a mobile communication device. You'd be better staying at home and watching it on your 60" hi def monitor.

Look I don't know why you think I don't know what I am talking about. But I guarantee you I do when if comes to charging my phone on the run, so just give it up already. I know what I can do when it comes to charging a phone, apprarently you don't.

You just have an unreaslistic outlook on what your phone can do when you're going to run out of juice just when you get to the good part on that episode of lost.

I told you before, I already use the chargers. The only unrealistic outlook is yours not listening to someone who already used chargers on the run. I've been telling you and your not listening. I am always on the run and always running low on juice and manage to find a way to use the charger.
