T-Mobile did win the JD Power & Associates Award for Highest Overall Customer Satisifcation in the South and Southeast US region.

If have Nextel then you can relate to the following link:

T-Mobile has worked great for me! I live in Northern California, Silcon Valley to be exact. Plus their rates are great for minutes and for the features.

I've been VERY happy with T-Mobile, in all of it's incarnations. Started as an Omnipoint prepay customer. In fact, the fact that they were the only company at the time offering digital prepay is what attracted me to them. The only drawback, and this only matters if you do a lot of traveling, is their lack of coverage outside of population centers and main highways. I just bought a Samsung R225 from someone in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who lives 4 miles south of I-94, but the signal drops at 3 miles. They don't yet have a lot of wide-spread coverage, a la Sprint or Verizon, but where there is service, the service is very good. All in all, here in Toledo, I've really had no reason to complain.

I have a co-worker who's been with T-Mobile for a year, and even after changing phones, he still complains about reception and some towers not handling network capacity that well. The only reason he's stayed with T-Mobile is because he can't afford the deposit needed by Cingular & Verizon Wireless. My co-worker envies me because my phone would work in some places that his T-Mobile would not, including the parking lot at work. That changed with me when I changed phones. I originally had a Motorola 120c with Verizon and it wouldn't work in the parking lot, while his cheap Samsung for T-Mobile would, somewhat. Now my Samsung a650 works better in the parking lot at work, while his cheap Samsung for T-Mobile barely works. He also has the Sa...

I too have been very happy w/ T-mobile, used to be a bit fed up w/ them but they have started to upgrade there coverage. They are starting to add some 3000 cell sites around the US and adding quite a bit of milage around rural highways. Greatly needed. i love T-mobile.

It depends on what is important to you and where you are located. Overall, T-mobile does not provide the best coverage - that would be VZW. However, T-mobile is normally the cheapest. Just check with people in your area to see who they like/dislike and why. Asking people in a T-mobile forum if it is a good company will not get you an accurate picture of the company - it may be a little biased. Just do you research!

I have no idea what you just said, but the point is that you need to check around before signing up with t-mobile because of their coverage. If you are in a big city, you should be fine in most areas. Otherwise, you may have spotty service. As a customer, I can honestly say the lack of coverae bothers me the most. Other than that, i've had no major issues. But I probably will not renew with T-Mobile.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT! BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR TMOBILE YOU SHOULD LOOK AND THERE PERSONAL COVERAGE CHECK TO SEE IF IT WOULD WORK OUT FOR YOU. IF YOU TRAVEL AROUND THE BIG CITY THEN TMOBILE IS GREAT FOR YOU. 😁
