Probably a really stupid question, but.

So, we're currently on a family plan and whatnot, and have never really had much reason to call anywhere other than around this area. But recently, I've been catching up with friends all over the nation. Been on the plan maybe a year or two now, I don't really remember much about it other than the 1000 whenever minutes and whatnot. Is free nationwide long distance included in the whenever minutes? Up to this point, I've never had a reason to wonder this, so yea, just wanted to know. Thanks.

All of T-Mobile's family plans in the past 4 years have been nationwide for both roaming AND long distance. So you don't have to worry about extra long distance charges for calls to and from the US.
And no...it's not a stupid question.

True. No long distance charges. 😁

In the words of South Park, "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people."

And no I am not calling anyone stupid, I just like the saying.

Overall, the only downfall in looking at the 1000 or 1500 nationwide plan is to be sure that coverage meets your needs. Not saying that T-Mobile's coverage is bad, just make sure it works where you need it to in order to use all those great minutes. My coverage with T-Mobile is fine until I head to the east coast and end up in places like South Carolina, where my coverage was spotty at best.
