How to get best price on a phone upgrade?

First off, let me say that I'm not EXPECTING to be treated special nor do I EXPECT to receive pricing different than is listed on the t-mobile web page.

I have a V60 that I've been using for 3 years and the antenna recently broke, or half broke. I still get somewhat of a signal and the stub is hanging on by some coil. I'm trying to hold out for the 6101 but I may get a V3 since there's no ETA for the 6101.

My question is, what are my options to get the best pricing on this phone. I don't want to be deceptive like some people and call claiming that I want to cancel or anything, I just want to know my options.

I was told that if I order the phone by calling 611 it will be $249 (minus a $50 MIR) and that if I don't like it I can ret...

There are some phones free for upgrade unless you have to have the V60. IMO T-mo is getting into the 850 frequency in some areas. So it's advantage to get a new phone that has 850/1900 frequencies. The V60 is triband with 900/1800/1900 coverage.

I believe the V3 supports 850. Is this correct?

That is the best price on an upgrade! It is the same as a new customer and you don't have to pay an act fee.

Costco has it for $139.00 after $50.00 and extend your T-mobile contract for 1 year, but you must be in your 11 month or more in your curent contract of $39.99 or more.

😉
Just a heads up for you all.
Right now, yes, that is the best price for an upgrade: $249.99-- with a $50.00 mail in rebate IF you agree to a *1* year contract....

BUT --

Starting around September 11th this year, they ARE going to roll out a new program where if you agree to a *2* year contract the discount would be much greater-- even if the cust has been on a 19.99 plan the whole time (but don't quote me on the 19.99 though lol 🤣 )
The discount-- I don't know what or how deep it would be yet.

What's the catch?

Well for one, this is the beginning of tmobile ever offering 2 year contracts, and if you want to upgrade your phone again and get a full discount again you need to wait 22 months

Hope this helps y'all...

I would like to add, I tried purchasing a V3 through 611 and was unsuccessful. It got lost in shipping, and then there was a 10 day wait to find out what happened to it, and then they were out of stock so they couldnt send me another phone! I finally just got it in store. 🙄
