I know that this is an old issue but is T-Mobile going to get bought out merge or anything. I know that there was an articale that T-Mobile wanted to sell T-Mobile USA and then on this fourm people said no it wasn't going to happen so I'm confused. I made a really big mistake switching over from VZW coverage wise it was a major downgrade. So whats up with this issue thanks.

You haven't been paying attention to this forum have you? This topic has been discussed well and on several threads. Read the forum and make your own conclusions! There is no definite answer. If you want one call the CEO of T-Mobile and ask him (he will probably tell you the same thing that he's told others many ...

Officially the answer is still no. T-Mobile US is not for sale.

We ALL have our speculations as to what T-Mobile US fate is, and choose what rumors to believe.

Working for the company I have seen for myself the aggressive attitude they have towards it being a service driven provider primarily, and being the most cost effective... However, I have also seen many examples of poor management and how that has effected our overall performance and numbers. I know that sounds terrible, but I just can't think of another way to put it. Things have changed from the time I started and it has taken away that something that made our jobs enjoyable (at least at my call center...I've heard it's not the same everywhere, so I'm not going to set that pr...

very well said i work for Cingular and we have some of the same issues T-Mobile in my mind fits perfect with a large section of people however it just does not have the funds to fight with Cingular VZW and soon to be sprint-nextel cingular upper managment has made it clear to us that if T-Mobile was up for Sales that cingular would make an attempt to purchase however i have worked with Cingular a long time and beleave it or not it values its customers However at this time i see us focused on paying back SBC and Bellsouth for the $47 billion we borowed. if T-Mobile Invested its money in T-Mobile USA we would have a very strong competior besides VZW

I hate to break it to you littlefuzzbear but i have noticed every year that T-Mobile gets bigger and bigger. Give it 3-4 years and if it growns at the same pace it is growing now it will be on top. But T-Mobile USA will need lots of patience. I seriously have noticed soooo many people around me switiching to T-Mobile, especailly their Family plan. T-mobile is hassle freee network which i will stick to untill unless they dont upgrade their network in about 2 years to 3G. Then there is a major problem with T-Mobile USA. But lets us wait and find out.

Please do not misunderstand me. I very much like the T-Mobile network and what *they* have done to pioneer GSM in the US. However, I am being r...

The reason that T-Mobile is soo behind is becuase of the mergers. When these mergers happen the customers from both carrier combine. That is the only reason T-Mobile is 4th.
