I have the Motorola E680 active with T-mobile service. I can only get the wap browser to work. I tried getting webviewer 4.0 (which I paid for) but that doesn't seem to work either. I just simply want to be able to surf the web. Please help!!!! 😕

I don't want to purchase the unlimited data package if it's not supported with my phone. Will I be able to view the internet using the data package. I did try once and if I recall correctly, it did not work. What should I do? I do however, have the webviewer working properly now. The one problem I have with web viewer is the fact that I can't check my yahoo mail, or my bank of america account. Why is this?

Does your phone show a blank white screen when you try to load a page from Webviewer. If so retype the web address in again.
If that does not help try to go to advance settings and set it in Port 8080 instead of 80.
If all that fails check the Internet settings such as the IP gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to see if the settings is different from wap as to GPRS

some webviewers will have settings inside them that you have to set identical to your GPRS settings to get it to work. I had that problem on a Moto phone.

I've had that same problem with blackberries before...something about the security profiles...With those you have to change the emulation mode to mimic an outllok format...not sure how you'd do it on a moto, but you should be able to access sites with yours. IP address and port access are great places to start looking at.
