I heard it too, but will be available as prepaid phone T-mobile true a camera store called Ritz Camera. But, I think you could always put your Sim card in there and its already programmed for T-mobile so thats a good thing if your T-mobile subscriber. If you are cingular then too bad 🙂

It will probably be REAL expensive if it does come out for T-Mobile USA.

If it works for T then it should work perfectly with Cingular, thats the beauty of GSM. But then again I dont think T USA is gonna release it or not at least before a year after its official release, propably T UK and T Deutschland.

But I heard that it would availabe in camera stores.

That is impossible that T-Mobile would get this phone....its 3G. Tell your boss to put the pipe down.

Well..

1) Nokia's website clear states that Ritz Camera will be the authorized distributor for US online sales.

2) Ritz Camera is also an authorized T-mobile seller.

3) the N90 operates on GSM/EGPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz, which makes it less likely to be offered by Cingular.

4) The sweepstakes that Nokia is currently running for giving away 50 N90 phones currently includes along with the phone a $50 pre-paid T-mobile SIM.

While the above highly suggest that T-mobile will eventually add this to their lineup

Will,

It's strange but true . . . Ritz camera will apparently be selling the N90 with T-Mobile prepaid service. Obviously, not all of the 3G features will work, but it was already available on the Ritz camera and Nokia USA websites as part of a promo thing. You couldn't buy it, but there was a contest where you could win one along with a T-Mobile SIM card and $50 of prepaid minutes.

Matt,

You and the other guy are right and I stand corrected. I registered to get one free too. Don't think I would use it, but it would look real nice on ebay at $700!!

How did that AT&T reseller port go?

Those were my thoughts exactly. I really wasn't that interested in it either, but I registered for their promo for the exact same reason.

The AT&T reseller port went through fine in the end - and just in the nick of time. The guy was about ready to cancel if we didn't get it resolved. The really frustrating thing is that he thought that it was our fault when it was really the reseller not releasing the number to us. Thanks for asking though . . .
