IPHONE JULY?

I'm sure I don't need to capitalize the subject to get your attention as I am sure that anything with I-Phone gets pretty much everyone's attention. Let me get to the point.

I called T-Mobile today because my contract is up May 16 and I wanted to make sure that they didn't charge my card for the next month when I plan to switch to AT&T to get the I-Phone. I was told by a customer service agent that I shouldn't switch over because they are going to have the I-Phone available in July and that I would be given a big discount considering I haven't asked for an upgrade in 27 months.

Unless that rep knows Steve Jobs personally, he's just talking outta his a55.

Even IF the iPhone was coming to T-Mobile, the reps would not know about it at this point. And if they did, by some slim chance, they wouldn't be allowed to talk about it.

The new iPhone is coming out in July but it'll be on AT&T. There is a rumor, however, that it'll be heading to Verizon (those rumors have been floating around since day one, though, along with it going to T-Mobile). If you've already made up your mind on getting an iPhone, wait till the new iPhone comes out.

If T-Mobile were to get it, its been kept quiet very well. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if T-Mobile launches it later, perhaps Q4, if they carry it at all. Everyone has high hopes of getting the iPhone once the exclusive agreement expires, but Apple has kept a tight lid on what they are deciding to do. Most likely they will make it available for all carriers within a certain period of time, it makes the most sense to Apple financially.
As far as the speeds you are referring to on T-Mobile's network it has to do with the frequency that...
