Question about breaking off from family plan

Here's my situation: the last couple years, the rents have been on a family plan to allow unlimited calling between the 3 of us. However, neither of them thinks they get good service at home, and my Mom says she also doesn't get service at her office. Long story short, the reason they switched to Tmo was that it was either that or Verizon where I went to college. Anyway, that is no longer an issue, but I have been a happy Tmo customer for years, especially given that their smartphone prices are much lower than AT&T. What happens if they want to switch back to AT&T and I stay with Tmo? As in, do I just keep paying on the Tmo plan until it expires and then go with a normal contract, or does their porting their numbers away then mean that the f...

family plan ends because theres only one line you go to individual, if they have contracts, the remaining line will be billed etf's.

That's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure so we know what to expect.

try a COR... that way you take over the line, on your own accnt, and your own plan, and they get their etfs.
