Former T-Mobile Customer (6 Years), Now AT&T Customer (surprised if I do 2years) seeking input......

I ported from T-Mobile last year (Black Friday 200😎 to AT&T due to issues with their "then up and coming" 3G Coverage. Now, just over over a year later, I:

- have been through decent coverage but I expected it. (Quick Question here for T-Mobile Customer Service and Users - Has 3G in the DFW Metroplex improved even a little bit? Zipcode is 75077 where I live but I also travel on the Pres George Bush Tollway either E or W as well so this would need to be better 3g coverage for my purposes as well. I had tried the G1 a year ago in this very area and it was miserable. Calls started to sound like vocal morse code.);
- have seen the Customer Service experience from just good (only because T-Mobile then had no idea about T-Mobile's issues ...

go to t-mobile.com and click on the coverage map. Then enter in your address. Or go purchase a phone and plan and if you are not happy return it prior to the end of the buyer's remorse time frame and you should probably expect your samsung to reset. It seems all samsungs do it.

Not entirely true as far as your Samsung Statement. I had the same thing occur with a G1 when I had it on Buyer's Remorse last year. Maybe it's a Smart Phone specific behavior.

I already know that I can go to the coverage maps and exercise the Buyers Remorse for 14 days. But I wanted to get some "Real Time" feedback from other T-Mobile Users in my area before I personally take the plunge. As a potential Customer rejoining my older carrier, I think I'm within my rights to ask for this.

Potentially or not I still think those are the best suggestions. Mostly because someone in your area may not go to the same places you go to including your home or work. For example. My house vs. my inlaw's coverage is completely different even though they are not far apart. I would suggest doing the buyer remorse. You can "port-in" your number later too so it wouldn't be much of a plunge. It's just a recommendation and not meant as a insult.

Your intentions are very well taken. It's just that I was looking for very specific feedback. If I were to make a decision based on the outcomes I experienced with 3G from 11/2008, it wouldn't be justified. And before even taking so much as a pl...

I agree with Fleance2k5. The only way to get the best info is to try it out yourself. Going off of what other peoples service is like where they live is like asking would i like this steak? No one would no better than you how the service is at your home and where you travel and work. I'm pretty sure when you return a phone in the br period they will refund your activation fee as well.
Just my thoughts.

Its a sure thing. If you return the phone inside the buyer's remorse TMO will credit the Activation fee. It's policy.
