T-Mobile plans, what happened!

PACWEST

TMO no longer seems like a cheap alternative. Just spec’d out a plan with the new BB Bold and it came to $90!
Where’d the $5 messaging plan go, it wasn’t an option? What happened to the limited cheaper data usage plans, I don’t need unlimited data?
And what’s the deal, if I want to buy a BB out right the cheapest plan is $80?

Its customers like you that cry and complain that make businesses make these decisions. People continue to moan and cry about cheaper and free and unlimited blah blah.. If they'd stop crying there wouldn't be changes.

That’s it dork, it’s my fault.
Trying to get clarification on an internet forum made TMO change their price structure.
I wonder what else I could get them change.

If you believe it then you can do it. If your mind can visualize it then you can make it a reality.

Unfortunately, that ends up being like 60-70% of the customer base for any company. People don't want to pay for anything anymore. They expect T-Mobile to eat up the price of the phone AND have dirt cheap plans. And THEN they'd complain about T-Mobile's lack of coverage because T-Mobile ate so much of the cost, they wouldn't be able to afford more towers and better coverage. 🙄

T-Mobile has never had "limited cheaper data usage plans" for smartphones. The prices now are a lot cheaper than they were before on EM+ especially. How is it not the cheap alternative? Like jaden_at_sprint said, you can get as low as $59.99...

I agree with PACWEST. I have gripes but, I stay with T-Mo because there plans are still chaeper than everyone elses. Last year(200😎 I had a Family talk plan w/1000 minutes and Internet for what I think was $5-$10 for under $100 a month. Now I have 400 minutes a month and Internet and it's costing me over $110 a month. I think it absurd to ask someone to pay $24.99 for a data plan when they were paying way less than that for the same exact thing the year before. The "way more" plans are "way more" than their counterparts were a year ago. It's stupid to charge more money just because you can.

If I were an NFL player, cost would not be an issue for me. I love T-Mobile and have been a customer for almost 4 years with NO real gripes. It just seems unfair to charge your customers more for nothing. The plans haven't really changed from what they were a year ago besides the name and cost. I only pay it because there in no cheaper alternative other than "Metro" whose service sucks in my area right now.

Does "spec out" a plan with a BB mean to compare it to a 24 month plan with the same features? I need to do the same with the BB that I want.

retail cost of BB plus cost of plan for 24 mos plus the features wanted divided by 12.

compared to the subsidized BB plus cost of plan plus features per month.

Is this what you did?

TIA

the blackberry/data plans on any phone have always been unlimited. The only difference between now and then is unless you include it with voice its 25.00 instead of the 20.00 it used to be & there is a $5 text for 300 msgs but for $10 its unlimited.
