Does anyone else hate T-Mobile's phonebook back-up system?
The problem was worse with the Samsung T-659 I had, but is happening again with the Sony Ericsson Equinox I just purchased. I finally get the address book in and right, but then I simply try to enter in a new entry. When my phone then talks to the website and visa-versa, it then duplicates, triplicates and "mixes" contacts together! mad::banghead: If I go in either to the website or phone...delete the duplicates, it'll then put them back in again! Or it'll take my personal addresses and put them back in as a business address in my phone!

Alternate solution: don't use the mobile backup service, it is optional. Just go to your phonebook options, change it to show only SIM contacts and to save contacts to the SIM by default. The mobile backup service only uses contacts saved to the phone memory.
I could try your alternate solution, but then I would lose all my addresses, etc, for the sim only stores names and phone #'s. I'll do that as a last ditch resort though!
