A few months back in here i wrote that my SGH-309 was alive and well after 3+ years of use and abuse! Then Murphys LAW sets in! I can not find another 309 to save my life.. After seeing my families and friends switch/uPgrade and recieve nurmous PC fones, PDAs and all these fancy smancy fones that basically wont last more than 3mos, i really want to stay simple simple simple! Reading reveiw after reveiw, I cannot find a phone that is somewhat comparible to the T309! I know why (at least i think) the T309 was discontinued... A company cant make money if it doesnt need replaced evry 3 to 6mos for an uPgrade that will sneak another $50.00 to $200.00 out of your pockets each time!

Personally, don't go with the T229. It looks ok closed up, but open the flip and it's hideous... Yes, it is free but that's about it.

Then, there's the T339. I'd say go with that one. Big numbers, nice screen, bluetooth, memory card slot, 20MB internal memory, Wi-Fi, 1.3MP Camera w/ video.

Hope that helps

I truely appreciate the input folks! I am so old skool about this and I have read plenty of peeps that didnt like the 309... However my particular T309 has served me really really well and I am not kidding about some of the abuse (accidental) it has been put through...

I was leaning towards the 339 possibly the 639 with 30mb onboard...

my quest continues!

THANKS AGAIN!

T639 was discontined and thank god... many issues arose with it. T339 is best bet... very few, if any returns on that phone. I would ge it if i wasnt a blackberry user.
