Is there a catch to the unlimited plan?

skibum

So I thought I remember reading a few months that there was a catch to the unlimited $50 plan. Is that correct, is there a catch? Also, is there now a unlimited family plan?

Any help is great, thanks,

The plan it sounds like you're referring to is not available for anyone, so I would recommend that you call in to Customer Care regarding the details.

the catch is that you have to be in an area that has this promo plan, plus you have to be a customer for atleast 20 months, otherwise its all gravy... atleast thats what the reps in the store said 👀

Its 22 months, not 20. The promo plan is offered everywhere, not just in certain markets. It has to be a regular postpaid account only. But it is straight up unlimited calling, no catch. No contract extension either.

not that this is a catch, but you do need to know that this loyalty plan doesn't include messaging. you can get the standard messaging bundles added, so the family unlimited msg would just be another 20 dollars. pretty sweet deal. just mentioning this because i am a rep, and i have had other reps and customer care try to tell me that messaging is included.

Heres the real info.

49.99 unlimited CALLING for single line plans.
89.98 for FamilyTime plans (2) lines. Every line after the first 2 it's 39.99 per line up to 3 more lines (totally 5 lines).
To qualify its 22 months of tenure on a normal account. Business lines can not have this. There are sometimes where you may not be qualified for this plan. The 22 months isn't the ONLY qualification, it's on a selection loyalty bases. So even if you have the 22 months you still may not be qualified. If you feel you qualify for this plan call in or log onto mytmobile.com. There are o contract or extensions for this rateplan because of its loyalty type offer.

I know one of the other requirements is a good payment history.

The only catch is if you don't take advantage of this plan, then your crazy.

Having compared my prior MyFaves Family plan(2 of us), it was a no brainer to switch. For the same price as 2 lines sharing 1000 min and Mobile to Mobile min, we switched to the UNLIMITED PLAN.

Great Deal T-Mobile

....Now about us having to wait for 3G....

Making generalizations is not a good thing. I am not taking advantage of this plan. I have three lines for 39.95 plus the Tmobile@Home service for $10.00 a month. I get 500 minutes per month, and free Tmobile to tmobile calling. All my family and freinds are on Tmobile, do I never go over my 500 minutes a month. So am I crazy for not taking advantage of this plan?

First and foremost...
It's the best deal in the industry...

Second, I gave you my scenario on why we switched. What generalization are you talking about? The fact that you have only friends and family on T-Mobile?? Do you have a screening process to be your friend? "Whoops, Sorry, you don't qualify because I've filled my Fav...

You can't go over 5000 minutes a month, or we chop your fingers off.
