1. You're myFaves are managed from a display directly on your phone. You can change every contact once per calendar month, so you can change all five every month, and it has no effect on your contract.
2. You get a partial discount after about 2-3 months. You only get the full discount every 22 months between upgrades.
3. Mobile backup is free!
4. Get charged for going to a store or calling customer care... ummm no. Only company that you can say that has rugged phone game on lock down is sprint/nextel. But verizon does have 1 or 2 of them also; not sure about ATT.
ATT has the new Moto Tundra.

Verizon has 5 PTT phones. Verizon PTT network is alot better then AT&Ts. I dont see a huge diffrance in Nextel and Verizon PTT as well. Nextel is a little faster, but not much to make a diffrance. Plus the coverage of Verizon beats Nextel by a long shot.
Never said pusht to talk i said rugged.

You don't need a data package for mobile backup. The way mobile backup works depends upon the phone. Most phones use the standard mobile backup, which is free. Sidekicks only do mobile backup when moving from sidekick to sidekick, and it only works with the sidekick data plan. The G1 syncs everything with GMail, and it comes with the required data package for the G1.
There are no pay per use data charges. T-Mobile avoids that beast like the plague.
