When will T-Mobile roll out any new telephones? It seems this company just sits and brings out a new phone every six months or so? Cingular on the other hand is rolling out new telephones every month, or so it seems!

Trust me, our phone selection is about to start getting a lot more aggressive towards the end of spring/beginning of summer. There's a few phones out on the floor right now some TA's and SUP's are demo'ing. They are REALLY SCHWEET! There are still more than that, too we are considering. Just like the other post said, don't upgrade just yet 🙂

I have bought two unlocked GSMphones and have not been satisfied with the way in which they acquire the signal. Both Nokias (3120 & 6230) were obviously made for Europe and while they are good phones they would not as quick to reaquire a lost signal. Does anyone know why this is the case and are some unlocked phones better than others?

Yes. It has lots of features. The Bluetooth is the easiest I have seen. The only problem is the 'cheap' plastic: if you switch faceplates more than once, the plastic does not fit properly a second time. The operating system is old. Nokia have a new version coming out with the Symbian OS. Maybe wait for that mid-year.

unlike cingular which will release any old POS, tmobile actually FIELD tests their phones so they know they work and they get the problems fixed BEFORE the consumer gets the device 🙄

Actually, part of our fielding IS releasing the phone model for consumer use. We can test it in any controlled environment, sure...the best test as to determine how the handset will perform is by letting the public have it. ...
