Who is satisfied with their T-Mobile service?
tether with 400 messages for $25 with voice is a steal, even the 10GB limit

I have been considering switching to T-Mobile. Is there anyone here who is satisfied with T-Mobile and the plan(s) they have? I have some family friends who are very satisfied with the service and continue to be customers.
I've been in Dallas-Fort Worth myself but have traveled a bit in the past to:
New York;
New Jersey;
Jacksonville, FL;
Miami, FL;
Tallahassee, FL;
Orlando, FL;
Port St. Lucie, FL;
Denver, CO;
Los Angeles, CA;
San Francisco, CA;
Reno and Carson City, NV;
Philadelphia, PA;
Chicago, IL;
St. Louis, MO;
Phoenix, AZ;
and Wilmington, DE.
No significant issues anywhere that would make me want to switch over elsewhere.

And I experienced some of the best customer service (although not in a store) with them. In my area their stores always seem to be crowded, guess that could be a good or bad thing?
Their coverage in major metropolitan areas is very good. But if you need coverage in the boonies...well.
Their pricing plans are very competitive. And one thing I liked with TMO was that their network just worked! You never had to wonder, did that MMS go through, am I going to loose my connection mid conversation, etc.
But that's just my experience with TMO and other carriers.
But ultimately I left TMO because of a lack of 3G. And now it would be a lack of 3G coverage & 3G phones.
Maybe some day I'll go...

When it comes to coverage, we are just like everyone else, we get coverage in some places where others do get coverage, and we don't get coverage in areas where some others do. But, overall, I would say we have very solid coverage.
I live between San Diego and Los Angeles in California. In the last couple years I have traveled all over California (Basically everywhere between San Diego and San Francisco), Las Vegas NV, Phoenix AZ, Dallas and Houston TX, Washington D.C. and all over Maryland, throughout New York City, Miami FL and the keys, also to Minneapolis MN. In all of those places, I had very solid coverage.
When it comes to our pr...

Two things I would ding T-Mo on. First, slow rollout of 3G service. Not entirely their fault, but makes it tempting to go with a carrier who HAS 3G if the service is important to you. My company wo...

I'm in Milwaukee area, have been a T-Mobile user for about 4 years. Coverage has improved dramatically in that time, though when I drive to the western part of Wisconsin it drops off badly. I generally get good service or roaming coverage over most of the US. I've also gotten reasonably good roaming coverage from Australia, Wales and England, France (Lille, Paris), Belgium, Sweden (Stockholm), Norway (Oslo and Tromso area), Germany (all over), Italy (Milan), Austria (Vienna). Customer service has generally been helpful, prices seem reasonable.
