Hey guys im currently with sprint which is CDMA and im ready to switch. I really like GSM and its features. I like that sim card feature and unlocked phones. I do travel to the UK a lot. My question is the two GSM carriers are t-mobile and at&t. I would like to know everyones opinions and honest answers what you think about t-mobile. like, customer service, coverage etc.. my main concern is customer service. I see they have awards from jd powers and lots of good ratings for customer service. I would love to know your opinion and ansers. thanks!! 🙂

T-Mobile
Customer service is very helpful. They are open untill 1:00 A.M. and are very helpful if you have questions about the phones. Coverage is a little less then with someone like verizon. I dont have meny problems with coverage, just in very rural areas. If you go to www.t-mobile.com and click coverage you can pull up a detailed coverage map that shows you the signal strength for any address. T-Mobile also had T-Mobile at home where you can use the internet t make calls, so even if you dont have coverage in your house you can have a phone that works with wireless internet and gives you a perfect signal. Plus only $10.00 for unlimited calling from home. T-Mobile also came out with $10.00 home phone service. Hope this helps 🙂

TMobile Best customer service I have experienced on a phone call, hands down. Only friendly people and they are paid fairly well.

Phone choices offered by Tmobile leave a bit to be desired. Hopefully will change when they get their 3g fully rolled out.

TMobile Pink logos incorporated into the phone software is annoying.

Lack of Fast Data services make AT&T more attractive in that regards.

If you want instant gratification in either of the following catagories that could make your decision for you.
Voice go with T-Mobile
Data go with AT&T

It really matters what works for you. They offer a two week test period to let you see if it works for you. Go into a retail store and sign up, get what you want and test it out for yourself. If you dont like it, you can cancel it.

I will tell you T-Mobile's customer care is one of the best in any business. They've won dozens of awards and they constantly show up in the top 100 lists you see all the time from magazines.

They were just ranked 2nd in overall coverage as of Q1 of 2008 and are launching their 3g network, which WILL bring newer and better high end phones.

They are also have the lowest rate plans compared to the other nationwide carriers.

ATT has 3g and "cooler" phones.
