So this week I ordered service from T-mobile, 2 phones to be exact and received them. I used them for four days before finding a special deal I liked on the Blackberry Curve from Amazon.com. So I placed the order, I then get red flagged that I need a deposit and Amazon cannot process it without T-mobile's consent. So I called T-mobile back, closed the first two (which I did not need a deposit for BTW), and they assured me that I would now be able to get the Amazon.com Blackberry. Two days later and multiple e-mails and calls to Reps and I still can't seem to get a straight answer. T-mobile is saying that I'm good to go, Amazon can't give me more information then they will e-mail the Mobile "dept" and contact me in 1-2 days. Please help what ...

There wont be a way for T-Mobile to honor that price, as its comming from a 3rd party vendor, Amazon. You'll need to contact Amazon directly to have this corrected. T-mobile can ONLY honor their own, corporate pricing.

another reason amazon might be balking, (i suspect) is that if you cancel and then reactivate within 90 days, it is counted as a reactivation, and not a new activation, ant amazon wouldnt get the credt for the act. therefore, wouldnt get the payment from t-mo for the activation.

if you're still within 4 days cancel with tmobile and then activate thru amazon. But you need to do it under someone else's name. do it under your wife, girlfriens or mom, etc.

Hi I am a corporate dealer and I know for a fact that t mobile can not honor the amazon.com price. For the reason being is that not all phones from that site are brand new. All though t mobile does price match at the point of sale only but only from most authorized dealers. Like car toys or those kiosks inside of malls. Honestly you shouldn't of deactivated service. but you can reactivate within ninety days. Also keep in mind that t mobile does not have deposits as of fourth quarter last year. Also a better price shouldnt make your decision to stay with that carrier it is that rep that would make you feel comfortable to buy the phone at that price. When you buy from any indirect dealer you have two contracts one from the company you...

Thanks for the great advice, they did actually process the order, and I am now receiving the package today, they even gave me overnight shipping for the trouble. But the one thing yous aid that disturbed me was the fact that not all the phones were brand new. It didn't say anywhere on the information about a Refurbed phone so I'm a little worried now...

yes they never say it on the website but there has been incidents of that happening. It doesn't always happen but it is a risk like buying on ebay there is no guarntee with these companies...im sure it will work out though enjoy your t mobile service. also watch out for our new network 3g that launches this year and I have seen the new phone that we are launching that will blow the iphone out of the water and plus new revolutionary concepts. let me know if anybody has any more questions...
