yeah you only get 5 numbers! And don't even think you can change them daily. could be wrong on that. But only 5? Come on.

i have it and i love it. i will preface this with the fact that i am a rep with t-mobile, in the interest of full disclosure. t-mobile says that its average customer talks to 5 people 65-70 percent of the time, so if you look at it like this; you have a 1000 minute plan, for 10 dollarsmore a month, you can have the myfaves version of the plan, so if my math is correct, that would give you in effect 3000 minutes! now if you add mobile to mobile to that, you probably dont have too many people that you talk to more than a few minutes at a time. you can then drop your plan down to 600 or even 300 minutes. it is very easy to change, you can change each # once a month, my whole extended family and my wifes are all on it and it has saved all of the...

I still rather have 10 that I can change every day if I want. But its still good. We have a 1000 min plan and use maybe 500 anytime and over 5000 mycircle numbers.

well they didn't just randomly pick 5. they did to a study for about 2 year to come up with the myfaves. unlike alltel, who just copied t-mobile.

with the question of m2m being included, i'd say 95% of the people who have myfaves don't need m2m. but, if you really really need it it's ONLY $6.99 a month more.

umm I think mycircle was out before myfavs. And they let you keep mobile to mobile and you can choose 5,10, 20 numbers now based off your plan. And yes m2m is a big one more so with only 5. If you have a spouse that takes up one each. If you have a spouse and 2 kids that takes up 3. get my point? And 6.99 can be cheap if and if its per account and not phone. But 6.99 is not free.

actually t-mobile had it announced and in testing phases before altel had announced or rolled it out, but altel was first to market, and even with the 6.99, the plans are usually the lowest in the market, if you only talk to a few people or dont have too many friends on t-mobile, more money saved

Just because alltel didn't announce it does not mean they didn't come up with it. They don't announce something they just come out with it. Like verizon does. They don't announce that evdo will be available they just do it.

And I use data so tmobile is not even a remote choice for me. And their price is not that much cheaper then alltel.

even though alltel offers data, their service sucks over in new england. i know people who have 3 or 4 lines on alltel and you only get 10 numbers that you can call for everybody on your plan? its not worth it unless u r only gonna get 1 line, otherwise go to t-mobile

They have 20 numbers now. And its all about what you need. I have four lines and that would take up 3 numbers on my fav for all lines.

Alltel conceived and released the "My Circle" idea before T-Mobile did. Speaking as someone who has personal service with both companies, Alltel mops the floor with T-Mobile. I get the resounding feeling that T-Mobile is "hip-wannabe-gangster" types, as evidenced by their hiptop devices. I get a distinct feeling of professionalism from Alltel. I regret my 2 year contract with T-Mobile every time I use my Alltel service... only a few more months though.

i kinda wish mobile to mobile is included in the myfave family plan.

i'd hate having to use one of myfave spot on my significant other 😈

I have my faves at first I did not want to change my plan to my faves however I love it now. I use out of my three lines I have 4000 minutes a month. Me and my husband do not have a land line. My sister does. I pay for the mobile to mobile because my whole family is on Tmobile. But I would truly recommend getting My faves I now have the 700 minute plan and it works out great!

Keep in mind it's 5 numbers for each line, even on a family plan.

yes but on a family line you have to put those other fam lines in if you want to talk for free. That takes up at least one of 5.

so correct me if i'm wrong, but you spend most of your minutes talking to you own family on your cell phone?

in most cases, teenagers to young adults will be talking to their friends boyfriends/girlfiends. and as for adults it would be close friends and maybe their spouse. and for the elderly, well, they'll just use the phone as is, not knowing what the myfaves program is.

so really, five people is just enough for the typical family. m2m only takes into effect when pretty much the majority of the people you know are on TMo service. but again, typical case would be most people you know are on different service providers.

and you can change your myfaves once a month, which is enough. if you were to change them every single day, there ...

So... this is curious. I have a National Freedom 900 with Alltel and a MyFave 750 with T-Mobile, both have two lines. Each line on T-Mobile gets five numbers, sure, but I have to use one right off the bat for my fiance, likewise for her. I can split my numbers up on my Alltel account however I see fit, but I don't have to waste two numbers between the two lines immediately. Furthermore, if I list my folks as a favorite number my fiance can call them for free...

Seems like T-Mobile is hosing me.

My husband and I have MyFaves, and we use up one on each other. But other than that, we each only have two more in My Faves because we never, ever talk on the phone. In a month, together, we used 16 minutes. We only ever talk to each other and to our mother's every once in a while, so we get a lot of use out of My Faves.

We just use the data. Email and messaging is all we use our phones for.
