Question

Just had a customer come in who stopped and asked me (sprint) where the nearest t-mob store was. Well the closest to us is an hour and a half away so I tried to help him out.

He was having trouble with his vm not working while he was roaming off ATT and I'm just wondering if that is normal since I didn't know what to tell him.

I get a lot of questions about t-mob here since there isn't one around so I'm just asking for future reference in case anyone else asks.

Thanks 🙂

if the phone will not retrieve vm, the customer can dial their own number and hit * when their message starts, then enter their 4 digit passcode and they will get their messages. hope that helps!

jenny, yes that's a normal thing. If you press 1 and hold it, or 1,2,3 send on t-mobile phones it should take you to your vm. if you're roaming, you do have to call your own number because if you're using another company's signal.... they of course are not programmed to work for any other company's services but theirs. so don't worry it's normal.
